Do you have the rights to use this content? Yes — through publicly available APIs, open datasets, and standard Islamic texts that are widely distributed for worship and study.

Does your app contain, show, or access third-party content without permission? No. Quran text, prayer calculations, and audio are sourced from services that provide them for public religious use with attribution.

Quran text & mushaf layout

Quran text is provided for worship and personal study. The App does not claim copyright over the Holy Quran. Translations retain attribution to their respective translators and publishers as provided by the API.

Audio recitation

Quran recitation audio is streamed from licensed editions available through Al Quran Cloud and similar providers. Audio is not re-hosted for commercial resale. Offline caching, where supported, follows the provider’s terms.

Prayer times

Prayer schedules are calculated using the Aladhan Prayer Times API. Calculation methods and madhab settings are user-configurable within the App.

Original app content

The following are original to Muslim Journey and owned by the developer:

User-generated content

Bookmarks, custom bookmark names, and Journey journal entries are created by you and stored on your device (and optionally in your cloud account if you sign in). You retain ownership of your personal notes.

Quran text and translations are for worship and study. Consult qualified scholars for religious rulings (fatwa). Prayer times are calculated estimates — verify with local authorities when precision is critical.
